FAQS
-
"All natural," or “Organic” does not automatically mean safe and everything that is man-made is not necessarily dangerous. There are thousands of organic chemicals and things found in nature that can make you sick or kill you. Example-snake venom or arsenic. Pyrethrin is an organic NEUROTOXIN and comes from a flower!! Pyrethroids, which are synthetic versions of Pyrethrin, are the most used active ingredient in pest control applications and baits. They both must be registered with the EPA because they are poisonous. ZB Guard Technology is organic and non-toxic. It does not need to be registered with the EPA. It is an approved 25b product and is considered GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) by the EPA.
-
ZB Guard uses 21st century soybean technology to harness the power of nature. ZB Guard relies on a mechanical kill and not a chemical kill to dehydrate pests. This patent pending approach ensures that NO poisons and NO neurotoxins enter your environment! You can know your family, friend’s, and pet’s health are not threatened by dangerous applications. ZeroBugs is the SAFEST way to combat the bugs and pests-hands down.

All pets should be secured and kept away for precautionary reasons. ZB Guard treatments are the safest organic non toxic applications, but we want the technician to be free of any distractions and request that applications be completely dry before allowing your pets into the treated areas. Also, to be safe, our Service Professionals will not enter fenced areas where a dog or other pets are visibly present.
-
While most pest treatments typically reduce the general pest population, over time pest populations build back up and treated surfaces lose their protective barrier from a one-time treatment. One-time treatment effectiveness fades quickly for most treatments on vegetation, especially as plants continue to grow and generate new untreated surface areas, including lawns. This is why we recommend recurring treatments to help manage ongoing activity in outdoor areas and on greenery. Certain areas like cracks and crevices, and non-porous surfaces can provide a stable surface for some products to last longer, however, UV light will degrade the treatment as well. Treatments to the structure of the home can last the longest but have less impact on the pest activity in the yard after a few weeks from one single treatment.
-
Your Initial Treatment and inspection typically take 40-60 minutes to complete, but larger homes will take a little longer. Our ZeroBugs service professional does a full scan of your home and property to assess what products and treatments are best based on your needs. Standard Treatments, which are maintenance treatments, can usually be completed in less than 30 minutes, but we require technicians to spend at least 25 minutes on site assessing, cleaning, and treating your property.
-
Our General Base Plan includes one interior application and three exterior treatments with our nontoxic ZB Guard Technology. Although, we will treat inside during any scheduled maintenance visit or if you call for no added charge.
-
For most of our customers one annual interior treatment is all they need. The interior treatment will last 12 months. The most important protective barrier we apply is to the home’s exterior foundation, flower/rock beds and lawn. However, we are happy to treat inside your home and/or garage whenever you would like.
-
For general pest application no. When we treat Bed Bugs and Flea infestations, even though these applications are organic and nontoxic, it is best to remove children and pets from the home allowing the treatments to dry before reentering the serviced areas. Carpets and textiles will be treated in these services and will take up to an hour or so to dry completely.
-
If you are seeing pests right after your treatment, odds are you are witnessing them flee your property, which typically means the treatment is effective. If after a week you are still seeing pests, give us a call and our service professional will gladly return to treat your home at no additional cost.
-
Our service professional will text you before, during, and after your appointment to keep you up to date on the treatment. Once it is complete, you will receive a text/email with details about your treatment and our service professional will answer any questions you may have.
